Common and widespread, being a native plant in the west, north and central Europe.
Prefers, full sun to partial shade conditions. Has no known insect and disease problems.
Found mainly in areas of short grass, such as lawns.
Flowers: Early Spring to late Autumn, numerous single headed flowers on slender stems.
