Season: April to October.
This species is variable in colour, what helps to distinguish this species from similar species are its yellowish to orange legs.
The bright colouring serves to warn would be predators it is not palatable.
Habitat: prefers open spaces, the adults are able to feed on a wide variety of various flowering plants especially, parsley (Petroselinum crispim).
