Lasioglossum discum
BTB. Lasioglossum discum (Smith. 1853)
It is hard to be certain, when trying to identify many Lasioglossum species, as they are so similar, hence the BTB (Believed to be).

Basionym: (Original name) Halictus discus
Family: Halictidae
Tribe: Halictini
Lasioglossum discum is a genus of Lasioglossum which is the largest bee genera, having over 1700 species worldwide. L. discum is thought to nest in dead wood where most species of Lasioglossum, nest in the ground.
A wide variety of flowers are visited.
