Habitat…. Various terrains visited, including grasslands, gardens, waste land and open sunny landscapes.
Main Wild Flowers visited…. Senecio “Common Ragwort”, Threadleaf Ragwort, Sedum yellow Orpin and Eryngium Campestre - Field Eryngo.
Main nesting Habits…. Thyreus histrionicus are kleptoparasites of other species of bees, mostly in the genus Amegilla, (Blue Banded Bees)
Mostly wide-spread throughout Southern Europe.
