Tanacetum vulgare. (Tansy) Height to 75cm.
Robust, upright perennial with a strong aromatic scent.
Common and widespread throughout, more abundant in the southern counties of the British Isles.
Grows on roadside verges, hedgerows, wasteland and meadows.
Yellow button-like flower heads 7-12 mm across. Flat-topped, umbel-like clusters up to 12cm across; comprising of up to 70 flower heads
Fruits… Achenes. Leaves…Yellowish green, divided with deep cut lobes.
